Day 1: JUNE 24, Monday
Knife use, care and safety
(try stick and pot hanger carving) Plant pressing introduction Day 2: JUNE 25, Tuesday
Fire starting, use, safety and extinguishing
Outdoor cooking basics (Bannock) Drinking Water safety (skimming ponds) Plant pressing Day 3: June 26, Wednesday Shelter Building (Tri-pod, Quad-pod, raised beds etc) Predator and prey exercises, animal tracks All Senses Tree ID Forest walking; path blazing Plant pressing |
Day 4: JUNE 27, Thursday
Container making (small reed baskets, birch bark bowls)
Sit spot exercise Fire making and firewood prep (feather stick carving, batoning) Spoon carving Day 5: JUNE 28, FRIDAY
Culminates with show and tell to friends and families....they'll be amazed by your shelter, your cooking and your carving skills!
