Creating an Interpretive Trail
The Woodland Walk
In order to enhance interactive learning and activities for all ages, the Libby has created an interpretive walking trail on Museum land. This new nature's classroom offers visitors a vision of the environment and dreams of our museum founder, Dr. Henry Libby.
Wider Scope of the Trail
This trail provides learning opportunities about the natural environment of our grounds, offers literature based opportunities for our classes to explore, and utilizes the physical space for our summer visitors to enrich their experience from inside the Libby to outside on our lovely grounds.
We hope to be able to provide activities for its use throughout coming seasons. Museum staff, the Town of Wolfeboro, the Friends of the Libby and museum volunteers are a vital part of the creation of this new part of the Libby Museum.
